About Us

Make A Splash Swim School is a friendly family run business set-up to enable all people, of any age and ability to learn swimming. We believe that learning to swim is an essential skill that everyone should enjoy. We aim to enthuse and inspire the swimmers of the future within a safe and structured learning environment.

Our lessons are based around our swimmers, and also on long term athlete development. We believe that by making our swimmers as happy as possible, we will help them to learn how to swim as soon as they are able.

We have an ever-expanding team of teachers and assistants who are highly committed, dependable and enthusiastic. Make A Splash started with just one swimming teacher and a handful of students over just a couple of hours a week. Now, we offer lessons on every day of the week within groups, private lessons, and teach swimmers from the age of 6 weeks up to adults.

All of us truly strive for Make A Splash to be a responsible and ethical swim school which is committed to the impact we make through our lessons and the environment. We know this might make us sound like we’re trying out for the ‘Miss World’ competition – but it’s what we believe in.  As a result, we are all fully CRB checked, use fair-trade and organic products as much we can and have even made sure that our printed uniforms are made from 100% organic cotton! Our Make A Splash swimming courses form the latter stage of our overall swimming journey – with younger swimmers making a seamless progression from Happy Aqua Babies.
